Focusing on mental health as a part of total worker wellness

The stigma of mental health often keeps people from speaking out and seeking help.  As a result, a person dies every 40 seconds by suicide.  There are many ways to effect improvement in your workers’, starting with ensuring that you are checking in with — and caring about — your employees and their work.   EAP programs, enhanced benefits (that include better mental health options) are two more options available.  Rule #1 is always take care of your people; they will take care of your customers.
